Kapprianah Anderson

Kapprianah is a 15 yr old Music Angels Scholarship recipient that has an amazing voice.  She moves easily from Broadway to Opera. She is being coached by Beverly Thpmpson and shows great promise.  She has added keyboard lessons and eventually will have a piano when there is room at Grandma's house.
 
Kapp did All-State Middle School Mixed Chorus in January, she got a superior rating which is the best at the district solo and ensemble in February she is doing National Junior Honor Society. She is making straight A's in advanced-level classes. She has performed in some shows for Vero Beach Theatre Guild theatre, having the lead in Alladdin -starred in her fall production for drama at school and is stage managing the spring production. She has never done stage managing before, but she is up to the challenge.
 
Her hobbies are all about singing and performing. 

Michael Boesche

With help from Music Angels, Michael learned to play classical guitar 14 year-old Michael was Music Angels’ first scholarship recipient. He started 3 yrs ago, excluding Pandemic period. Michael is being raised by his grandmother and learning to play Guitar.
 
Michael started with Music Angels at 11 years of age.  After 5  months of study with Miguel Bonachea, Michael was able to do a Malguena duet with Miguel at the Church By the Sea in Vero Beach, FL.
 
He then went on to add modern guitar to his repertoire. Last September, Michael and his Grandmother moved to Pittsburg to be closer to family and I received a phone call that Michael was accepted to the Local Music Conservatory. She told me that she will never forget how Music Angels got him into the World of Music and how much confidence Michael gained from the experience. We will miss him, but will still be following his career.

Emily Practiced And Was Able To Reach The Music Level To Perform The Piece And Moved Ahead In Her Studies.

Cierra June

Cierra June, 23, vocalist from Largo, Florida. She was diagnosed with high-functioning autism at age 5. Much of her youth saw speech, occupational, and social skills therapy. Cierra could sing before she could speak and has been singing ever since.

Cierra has been fearlessly performing in talent shows, karaoke contests, and vocal competitions from age 6. One autism benefit is she never gets nervous when performing. She’s an auditory learner, making it easy to memorize sound and lyrics, she also has perfect pitch.

Cierra graduated in 2019 from Pinellas County Center for the Arts (PCCA) at Gibbs High School as a vocal major. She graduated with an Associates in Arts from St. Petersburg College in 2021, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Florida Southern Cn.

Her National Anthem for the Tampa Bay Rays earned her a spot as a feature story in the Tampa Bay Times and landed her a spot singing the national anthem on Great Day Live Tampa Bay. She sings and writes music to spread awareness and inspire people with autism. She believes that autism doesn't limit your success, that you should never be ashamed to be autistic. Autism can be awesome-tism if you believe it.

Jen Msumba

Jennifer Msumba is an autistic filmmaker, author, and musician. She is originally from Boston, Massachusetts. Now she enjoys living in a small Florida town, with a population of 4,803.
 
Jennifer has become a prolific writer, of both story and song. As author of the memoir Shouting At Leaves, Jennifer uses her pen to express those feelings that we all share but often find hard to express.
 
Her work is positive, fun, and upbeat. While weaving a baseline of grit and strength gained as a result of being born through adversity. Her noteworthy fact is that she is a member of American Mensa and is a Sundance Institute Fellow.

Milosz Gasior

Milosz, 21, pianist with autism. Born in Clearwater, Florida, his diagnosis came at 2 ½ with moderate to severe autism. His speech remains severely delayed, presenting challenges in verbal communication and independent functioning, despite 18+ years of therapy.

Milosz graduated 1st Piano Major from the Pinellas County Center for the Arts in May 2023, receiving the Dr. Cody Clark Thelo Award. Graduating Magna Cum Laude and as a member of the Tri-M Music and National Honor Societies.

His exceptional performances, earned him recognition beyond academia. Awarded "Mr. Inspirational 2022" by Help Us Gather, Milosz has performed at events, including galas in the Tampa Bay Area in Florida. His performances in Chicago, Poland, and Tampa International Airport have solidified his status as a notable figure in the music community.

A YouTube channel, "Milosz Gasior Defying Autism with Music," features his playing. In December 2022, Milosz's encounter with Broadway producer, Mark Schoenfeld, led to the publication of a book chronicling Milosz's life story, titled "I Heard the Light: A Mother's Story of Her Son's Journey Through Autism to Self-Expression,".
